The front door opens into a cosy sitting room and dining room both with original red brick fireplaces.
The sitting room has a wood burning stove making it warm and cosy throughout the year. A telephone is available for incoming and local calls. We also provide a TV, DVD player, Radio/CD/Cassette player and an assortment of games.
Leading off from the dining room is a fitted kitchen containing a good range of crockery, pans, cutlery and glasses. At the back of the kitchen is a small utility area with access to the stable door which leads to the enclosed garden and also the bathroom with cast iron bath with shower over. The cottage is fully equipped with an electric 4 ring hob, double oven, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, microwave, auto washer/dryer and high chair.
A staircase* from the lounge takes you up to the first floor. The master bedroom has a double bed and decorative fireplace. The bedroom is situated at the front of the property with far reaching views towards the marshes. The room is light and airy and has a large wardrobe with drawers and shelves, bedside cabinets with individual lamps, and a small table with mirror over. The second, single bedroom is at the rear and sits under the eaves. With a single bed, a four-drawer chest, built-in wardrobe and a bedside cabinet with lamp. The chest of drawers has a mirror over. There is a third bedroom suitable for a child under 11 years.
A cot is available at no extra cost and can be placed in any of the three bedrooms. Sheets, blankets and cot pillow are also provided.
There is a small grassy bank to the front of the cottage and roadside parking.
The enclosed garden to the rear has a lawn and patio, ideal for sitting out after a day at the beach or sightseeing. (Garden furniture and barbeque supplied.)
